Anne – with an ‘e’, don’t forget – is a 10-year-old redheaded orphan who has been adopted by Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert. By nature, Anne is a mischievous chatterbox with an extremely active imagination. Anne’s sense of adventure often gets her into sticky situations, but she is adept at solving problems through the use of her imagination.
